Holiday Prayer

Tis the season to be Thankful and Jolly.
Jehovah our Father, you are the name above all names.
Lord,
I ask you to comfort those that are in mourning,
To heal those that are sick,
To stand by those that are fighting for freedom,
Partner up with those who are feeling alone or having relationship issues,
And guard the minds, tongues and hearts of those that are having mental break downs.
God I am asking, seeking, and calling out for you to hear my prayers.
Open doors that need to be opened and to close doors that should be closed.
For the families and friends that are gathering during the holiday,
Protect them as they are traveling and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Remind them of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
