Prayer of Growth

James 1:2-4 (NLT) states:

Dear brother and sister when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

For you that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Prayer:

Father , I am asking you to show me how to count it all joy while I am having my trials.

Show me how not to lean on my own understanding but to trust in you with all of my heart with the

guidance of your wisdom that is teaching me that my trials are just a test to grow closer to you.

Reming me that I am made in your image and I CAN DO ALL THINGS through Christ which strengthens me.

Do not allow me to me be a hypocrite by encouraging others and not myself.

Cover me God with your blood, equip me with your armor and anoint me with your oil.

When I am weak, please be my strength and my rock to my salvation.

I would like to live by Philippians 4:4 NLT ” rejoice in the Lord always..

2 Timothy 1-7 NLT God did not give me the spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and of self

discipline.
